Clearly these are coal miners having emerged from the deep in the mine

which is antique ceramic

with a round window in the toe of the sole providing a peephole view to three carved bone dice inside

With a curious hard right edge to the oval, and what looks to be a fingerprint on the negative preserved right there. 5 1 2" x 3 7 16". Very good condition, unused postcard back.
