Antique Cast Iron Tassel Shaped Gate Weight ship builders print 8 5/8" l x 2I really love this weight just as an object, looking a bit like a woman in a wide skirt, but it is also completely ready to use a weight to keep the garden gate closed, or certainly to weight all sorts of other things. Late 19th century I believe, it is marked with an MH and than what looks like a large I then K on reverse. 6 9 16" t x 2 5 8" w x 1 3 4" d and weighs about 2 pounds. Photos don't do justice to it's presence and patina; really a nice
