I was in a frenzy
on lined paper with a scalloped left edge
and his carved face
I've been thinking lately about the potential eroticism of landscapes
There is an old repair to the lip of the base as documented
Head Above Water, Antique Photo of Young Woman Swimming 19th century writing I was in a frenzyIt was brutally hot at Brimfield, which I guess seeped into my brain, as I came home with two different photographs of swimmers! The smiling, joyful face of this woman in her bathing cap makes me really happy, and I love how it appears as if she's wearing a full button down shirt and jacket in the water. Really a charming snapshot I think, 1910s 20s I believe. 3 1 2" x 2 3 8" and in very good condition.
