The palate is extremely well balanced with just about perfect viscosity

and think it needs another 2-3 years of cellaring

earth and anise plus a waft of cedar chest

This is potentially a monument in the making if it can continue to add depth as it ages and the potential to do so certainly appears to be present

Camille Giroud, Volnay Lurets Vintage:2013 (from 3 different plots measuringThis is aromatically similar to the straight Volnay though while I like the slightly better complexity the nose isnt quite as fresh. There is better vibrancy on the palate of the succulent and round flavors that also exude a subtle minerality on the slightly warm and raspy finish. This is certainly good but its not quite as well balanced.
