7 1/2" tall x 5 7/8" wide x 4 3/8 deep

These are from a group of wonderful old handmade animals I found this past weekend in New Hampshire (and splurged a bit on as I think they're pretty special)--I believe from a Noah's Ark set

These meet all my criteria: quite old

original to them but I'm honestly not sure what purpose they served

what would be called "open weave

Marvelous Prohibition Era Leather and Brass Book Shaped Flask with Shot Glasses and Funnel Alexander calder 7 1/2" tall x 5Quite a thrill to find this one, which almost (but definitely not quite!) makes me wish alcohol was forbidden so that I might stealthily hide it inside this beautiful book shaped flask! The exterior is leather with brass corners, the top of which twists off to reveal a spout, and the bottom of which slides off to reveal three nested brass shot glasses plus a funnel inside! The bottom of the shot glasses is marked DRGM (Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchmuster)
