Ripe and Overripe Fruit, Satisfying Antique Still Life on Artist Board handmade rubber band gun 16 5/8" t x 11The luminous orange of this antique oil on board still life drew me like a magnet from a distance I thought at first oranges, but now I'm thinking maybe peaches, or even apricots? Whatever the case, perfectly complemented by the abundance of deep plum fruits surrounding them small plums I think (the right sort of greens) looking as they've just been plucked. Then this well bruised banana in front of them, lending a sense of momento mori to it all
