Flavours here major on cocoa, vanilla and cassis with plenty of freshness. This is well balanced, with 30% new oak, and there's an emphasis on Merlot character. This year was rainy until end of August and a wipeout was saved by a good September and October. These conditions worked for Merlot and Cabernet Franc,
