note well that this too will need at least a decade of cellaring to arrive at its full majority

Aurage Vintage:2014 focused and sneaky long finishDeep garnet with bricky rim. More lifted than the 2007, deliciously spiced on the nose, a succulent spicy sweetness and just a hint of maturity in those mulched leaf notes. Structure is a little firmer here, both in the tannins and the acidity but even so it is really harmonious and elegant on the long finish. Moreish and mouth watering. Oak now nicely in the background. (JH)
