Cigar Box City Tower colored ink drawing 1800–1875)Such a charmer of a piece of folk architecture I think, resourcefully made of cigar box wood and exuberantly painted in a yellow grid with graphite drawn front door (and tiny clock overhead) and window panes, which offer a view of the stairs zig zagging diagonally from top to bottom on one short side. I'm not sure if there was ever a base to match the roof it doesn't appear so, and as is the open bottom would allow one to stash some secret things
