Bodegas Juan Pinero 'Great Duke' 12 Year Old Amontillado Sherry Andalucia, Spain Domaine de la Grange aux Belles Unlike most decanters12 Year is an official designation in Jerez. This Amontillado's origins are the Maruja solera and therefore wine from Sanlucar. For this reason it is a very elegant and fresh yet concentrated version of an older Amontillado. "Great Duke" refers to the Eagle Owl, which is an important symbol and bird in the national park accross the river from the city of Sanlucar. In Spanish the bird is known as "El Gran Duque".
